Amy's Wedding

  Amy's wedding, held on a Sunday afternoon in April, 2007, is the only wedding ceremony that has been rained out at the 1812 Hitching Post.  Amy made the decision to move her ceremony inside 10 minutes before her scheduled time to walk down the aisle.    As you can see from the photos, the Hitching Post staff responded quickly to her change request and set up the ceremony in the Wisteria room and Amy had a beautiful wedding with the garden as a backdrop for her arbor.        

    Amy's wedding featured fun spring flowers.   Amy's adorable Gerbera daisy centerpieces, provided by The Flower Shop in Hickory had leaf covered flower pots.   Tulips lined the aisle in planters provided by the Hitching Post.  Large ferns supplied by the Hitching Post decorated the arbor for Amy's Wisteria Room ceremony.

    Amy's menu included light hors d'oeuvres, a chocolate fountain, and a candy bar.  The only thing missing was more time for Amy and her family to be together - her reception went by so quickly!
