All cakes made
at the 1812 Hitching Post are made fresh in our in-house
bakery just before your wedding and are never frozen.
Because the finished cake does not need to be transported,
you have the advantage of optimal freshness for the best
tasting cake possible.
For elopements, the following are standard flavors:
Butter Cup - Delicious and moist, our most popular cake
flavor! Choose traditional butter cream filling or try
chocolate, lemon, or raspberry fillings
White Silk - Simple,
yet elegant, pure
white cake. We most often pair this with raspberry
filling.
Vanilla Cream - Full-bodied flavor and texture; great
with strawberry filling.
Chocolate Mousse - A light chocolate cake
flavor. Combine with dark chocolate filling and
chocolate icing for a chocolate lover's fantasy cake.
Strawberry Shortcake - a pretty pink cake lightly flavored
with strawberries
Lemon Zest - A wedding cake favorite; sweet and moist.
Make it extra lemony with lemon cream filling.
Sugar and Spice
- A fall favorite spice cake. Cream cheese filling
makes this very popular!
Standard filling choices: butter cream, chocolate,
lemon, cream cheese, raspberry, or strawberry.

elopements at the 1812 Hitching Post. Premium cake
flavors and designs, as shown here,
