Gold Package

  
  Our gold package is designed for couples who'd like to entertain from 40 to 200 guests with a full reception.  Included are a fabulous combination of some of our best services at a value package price! 

  Included is complete professional photography with two photographers, lots of decor options, custom decorated wedding cake, table seating, DJ, and buffet.

Planning

With the Gold package, Wendy will work with you to design and execute every component of your wedding so no detail is overlooked.   We have checklists and information to help make your day go smoothly.  Unlimited email contact and on-site visits are included.

Rehearsal

Danielle's North Carolina rehearsal

Your rehearsal (one hour) is included.  We schedule your rehearsal at your convenience; typically, on the Friday evening before your wedding.  If we're providing your officiate, he will be present at your rehearsal.  The sound director with sound system will be set up for your rehearsal.   Wendy will walk everyone through their placements and responsibilities of the upcoming wedding.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the 2nd floor for the bride and her wedding party to use for dressing before the wedding.   The massive bridal suite spans the front of the house and has a full balcony.  We have steamers, irons, pins, scissors, and more so you can look your best.  With the Gold package, we include 1 1/2 hours of time before the ceremony for getting ready.  Your primary photographer will get plenty of photos starting one hour before the ceremony.  

The groom and groomsmen have their own dressing area on the first floor with bathroom.  The rest of the first floor is open as your guests arrive and mingle to your pre-chosen prelude music.   Gifts can be left in the reception area and  beverages are served to arriving guests.

This is the moment about which your event pivots.  We take your ceremony and commitment to each other very seriously and will help you plan a ceremony with decor that suits your family style.  

Grandmothers and mothers are seated. Candles, if used, are lit.  After the groom is at the alter, the bride will descend the stairs and go out the front door and down the aisle for an outdoor ceremony under the shade of the massive oak trees (Ceremony site may vary upon preference).  Everyone stands as you make the turn onto the lawn.  You'll say your vows, exchange rings, and share your first married kiss surrounded by nature and those you love.

After your ceremony, you two will promenade up the brick walkway.  We gather you, your wedding party, and all your guests on the front lawn for a photo from the balcony above.  It's a great shot  of everyone at your wedding.  You'll have a receiving line followed by formal photos.  Your guests make themselves at home in the reception area while hors d'oeuvres are passed and the beverage/bar area is fully opened.  We follow formal photos with your announcement to the reception area.

Dancing

You walk in to the DJ's announcement and have your first dance.  The two of you will then lead off your buffet.  After you've had a bite, you can continue to visit with your guests or have additional photos of just the two of you while everyone else is enjoying the delicious meal.  We follow that with your father/daughter dance and other formal dances and then cut the cake and have toasts.  You'll then have open dancing followed by your bouquet toss and garter throw.  Most couples leave to a send-off of bubbles or sparklers. 

Complete Gold package includes:

  • Bride's dressing rooms before event with adjoining private bath   
  • Groom's room for Groom and Groomsmen with adjoining private bath
  • Outdoor ceremony with flowered arbor 
  • Ceremony seating
  • Interdenominational Christian Officiate, if desired
  • Microphone and amplified sound system for ceremony
  • Personalized ceremony music choices
  • Vows personalized as desired
  • Rehearsal evening before at mutually agreed upon time (one hour)
  • Any needed ceremony tables (such as unity candle stand, program table, etc.)
  • Set-up and use of round dining tables for all
  • Full-length tablecloths.  Colored tablecloth overlays, if desired
  • Basic centerpieces 
  • Buffet set-up with our silver and crystal service
  • Hors d'oeuvres including (may be modified to suit your personal preferences):

    Pulled pork with hot and mild sauce

  • Professionally decorated wedding cake
  • Cake table with and all needed utensils
  • Cake cutting with use of our servers (or may bring your own)
  • Box for anniversary tier of cake
  • Complete professional photography of entire event with dedicated photographer
  • 2nd camera photography for primary events (ceremony, formal dances, cake cutting, toasts, garter, bouquet)
  • Two 10 x 10 Ten page (20 sides) custom designed hard cover photo albums (or one 20 page album)
  • All photos posted online for direct ordering for six months following wedding.  
  • DJ/sound man & system for announcements and all provided music
  • Lighted dance area 
  • Bubbles to blow toward couple when leaving (may upgrade to sparklers)
  • Party planning assistance – advice and assistance with all aspects of your wedding via emails, phone calls, and/or visits
  • Set up and clean up of any decor owned by the 1812 Hitching Post on your behalf (including use of live potted plants, shepherd's hooks, arbor, silk flowers, centerpiece items, etc.)

Also included is beverage service with punch or lemonade, iced tea, water, and coffee. 

Bartenders with bar set-up are also included.  Beverage fountain available at no extra charge.

Our Gold package is available anytime.

This wedding package includes up to 1 1/2 hours before ceremony for getting ready, 1 hour for the rehearsal, and 4 hours for the ceremony and reception.  

The complete Gold Package, including catering, bartenders, wedding cake, DJ, decor, party planning, and full photography services with wedding album(s) is priced as follows:
