Photography

Included with your package are complete photojournalistic photographic coverage plus a CD with 50 full resolution images.  Your images will be as shot and will be mailed to you approximately 2 weeks after your wedding.  We'll start taking photos of the two of you a few minutes before the ceremony.  Photography will cover the ceremony, first moments together afterward, cake cutting, toast, and first dance (if you choose to have a first dance).  We'll also take some formal (posed) photos of the two of you at several locations around the property.  You are welcome to suggest poses and locations.  

Photography Options:  

1.  Post photos online - purchase a gift certificate for $20 or more of prints and we'll post all your photos online for ordering.  You'll be able to request photo retouching and will have the option of using your $20 toward prints, albums, photo cards, and more. 

2.  Storybook photo album - storybook albums start at $800 for a 10 x 10 hardcover album with 40 images included.

3.  Slide show - Your best 50 photos set to music and burned to DVD with pan and zoom effects.  $100 for first slide show; $20 for each additional copy.  These make great Christmas gifts!

4.  Size it for FaceBook - we'll size up to 5 photos of your choice to use in emails and/or to post on FaceBook.  Free for the asking.

5.  Bridal shoot - add 1/2 hour bridal shoot to your time.  Ideal for the bride or couple who wish to purchase a large portrait and want some extra time and effort devoted to their photography and lighting. - $125; includes $100 gift certificate to be used toward formal prints including canvas prints.

Wedding Cakes

At the 1812 Hitching Post, we specialize in freshly made, never frozen cakes in popular flavor choices.  Cakes are with buttercream icing - we can make it extra creamy and light if that is your preference.  Cakes are designed and decorated by professional designer, Patrick Waldron.  Fondant decorations are available.

   Every bride has her own style.  We encourage you to be as creative and include personal items with meaning from your home, if you desire.  You may bring your own centerpieces and aisle decor for us to set-up for you or let us create decor from your ideas.

Food and Beverage

   You want your guests to enjoy every bite of the food served at your wedding.  We love food that is fresh and tasty.  How many weddings have you attended where people rave about the food?  You'll taste how much we care in every dish that is served.  We use our antique silver and crystal for a lovely presentation. 

     At the 1812 Hitching Post, we have several standard buffet options which give you and your guests a wide variety of foods in unlimited quantities at an affordable price.  We also customize menus frequently to include anything you and your friends and family would find enjoyable.  Our goal is to please you.  We offer our menus as suggestions but are happy to include all types of meal service.  Some popular choices include outdoor roast pork (luau), Italian dinner, surf and turf (steak and shrimp), and grilled chicken or barbeque.  We also have consultants available to ensure your ethnic selections are authentically prepared.
