Spring signifies a new beginning. As the weather begins to
warm, our gardens begin to bloom with daffodils, tulips, crocuses,
lilies of the valley, hyacinths, lilacs including our French lilacs,
and flowering trees including dogwoods and fruit trees.
A highlight of spring are our many azalea bushes which typically
start to bloom from early April to mid-May. Our peonies are in
full bloom around Mother's Day. Lilies bloom all May and
into the summer.
Below are pages from some of our Spring storybook photo albums and photos from weddings held in
the Spring at the 1812 Hitching Post. You can't beat the
weather in North Carolina! If you've always dreamed of a
gorgeous outdoor wedding, you owe it to yourself to check us out!
