Wintertime is special at the 1812 Hitching Post. What better
place to start your lives together with a winter wedding in a large
but cozy historic plantation home?
At the 1812 Hitching Post, wintertime is magical with firelight and
candles. The white wrought iron fence
surrounding the dance floor is covered with 3,000 twinkle
lights. It's often warm enough in North Carolina to have
outdoor photos in the winter. Our camellias are often in bloom and
we have many evergreen trees and bushes including our magnolias.
