Mindy's Wedding

    Mindy and Michael were married at the end of May.  Mindy chose the wooden arbor covered with pink and purple blossoms to coordinate with her purple tulip and pink rose bouquets. 

   Mindy describes her family as "big eaters."  She chose a menu that included hors d'oeuvres of bacon wrapped scallops, chicken wings, and crab stuffed shrimp.  A meal in the Wisteria room followed.  Mindy's plated dinner included sliced filet mignon, chicken Florentine, lasagna, green beans, dinner rolls, and mashed potatoes.  Chocolate covered strawberries were served with cake as dessert.

   Mindy and Michael's party favors were pink and purple M & M's in delicate lace bags.  

   Mindy chose her bottom cake layer to be amaretto and cream.  The middle and top layers were chocolate with peanut butter filling (Michael's favorite flavor combo).

   Gorgeous centerpieces flanked both ends of the long table set for the entire family.  Pink and purple overlays on the dining and cake tables continued the color theme.
