Nikki and Michael were married the
2nd Saturday in May. Nikki chose a color
palette of bright raspberry, lime green, and orange
against black and white.
The wedding and reception were
perfectly gorgeous! Nikki's bouquets and
live centerpiece/aisle flowers were provided by
Mary Hazel at the Flower Shop in Hickory.
Photography was by Milt Hawes Studios and Wendy
Waldron of the 1812 Hitching Post.
Catering, cake, video, and decor other than live
flowers provided by the 1812 Hitching Post.

I have finally had time to sit
down after a long week in Mexico to send you an
email and thank you for making my wedding the best
day of my life. Everything was amazing and
everything looked so beautiful. The staff did a
wonderful job and everyone had a great time. As
everyone has told us, people will be talking about
our wedding for months and years to come. Michael
and I had so much fun and can't wait to see the
pictures are the video.

Wendy,
Now that I have had a minute to breathe since
Saturday's wedding I wanted to tell you how much I
appreciated everything you and your staff did to
make Nikki and Michael's wedding so memorable. The
entire setting looked exactly like Nikki had
pictured it. I had so many compliments on the
delicious food and service. Your staff was so
helpful and pleasant. It did not matter what I asked
for, you and your staff made it happen and never
once did I feel like I was the over anxious Mother
of the Bride. The bartenders were great. I just
can't say enough about The Hitching Post staff and
the time and trouble they went to so that the
wedding and reception were perfect. The best part
was I could just be Nikki's mom and enjoy the day,
not having to worry about setting up for the wedding
and reception or cleaning up afterwards. It was so
worth the money. Thanks again and I can't wait to
see the video.
