Katie's
July wedding was a tropical paradise. The
bridesmaid's dresses were peacock blue with
chocolate sashes. The flower girl wore a
chocolate tutu. Katie carried two dozen hot
pink roses as the perfect accent to her stunning
dress.
The
arbor consisted of palm trees accented by hot pink
petals and two gorgeous flower arrangements.
Petals covered the aisle.
Katie's
cake for 200 was custom designed for her from her
description. The chocolate fondant, hot pink
petals, bouquets, and candles all added to the fun
look of the cake.
Katie's
reception featured a steel drum band (fabulous!)
and lots of tropical yummies including chicken
kebabs. The tables were topped with
chocolate overlays and centerpieces including teal
immersable party lights. Magnolia leaves
were tied with raffia around vases set on
laminated squares that matched Katie's party favor
boxes.
From
Katie later the night of her wedding:
Hey Wendy!! I didn't even get a chance to
tell you bye! Today was wonderful and it was
all I ever could have wanted. Thank you so
much for everything you did. Everything had
a special touch and I loved every bit. Can't
wait to see pictures!! Thanks again!!
From Katie's mother:
I just want to take a few minutes to say how much
I appreciate everything you did for Katie's
wedding. I have nothing to say about Katie's
wedding but great things. Katie held
strong to her decision to have her wedding at the
1812 Hitching Post and I am so glad she did.
Her wedding was beautiful. All details were
so well planned and the best part of all was that
you did all the work!!! I
planned and did EVERYTHING for my oldest
daughter's wedding so I really knew how to
appreciate someone taking over and doing
everything for Katie and me. Even though you
did all the work, I appreciate so much that it
reflected Katie's style and personality. All
of our friends and family continue to comment
about the wedding and how beautiful and fun it
was. Thanks to you again.
