1812 Hitching Post Winter Dessert Reception

    The wedding package described below is designed for couples who are planning a dessert reception or party off-season.  Designed to be "short and sweet, this package includes all the basics for a wonderful wedding.  You may choose to include formal events such as a first dance and garter and bouquet toss with this reception package.

Pre-wedding Day Services

• Checklist and basic event planning 

Reception Services

• Cake:  Wedding cake in choice of flavors and style.

• Cake cutting and serving

• Plates, napkins, and forks for cake and cake serving

• Beverage service: Tea, lemonade, water, and coffee

• Music services: Pre-select music to be played during reception  

• Bubble send-off

• Basic reception photography

One hour reception/party 
for up to 32 people -  $495

Winter Cocktail Reception Package

Our Hors d'oeuvres reception is designed to be used three ways; as an "add-on" to the ceremony above, as a reception only, or for seasonal parties.  You may substitute menu items to customize your party.

Your Winter Hors d'oeuvres Reception Package includes the following:

Pre-wedding Day Services

• Checklist and full event coordination 

Reception Services

• Hors d'oeuvres- hors d'oeuvres table of fruit, cheese, crackers, spinach dip, vegetables with dip, nuts, pretzels, and cocktail meatballs

• Hand passed mini pizzas, spanikopita or deli spirals, shrimp shooters, and mini cheesecakes 
  (or menu of similarly priced items)

• Beverage service: Tea, lemonade, water, and coffee  

• Bartender service for beer and wine

• Cake: Your choice of flavors and style 

• Cake cutting and serving

• Single serving plates, napkins, and forks

One and 1/2 hours reception/party 
for up to 20 people -  $840
Add guests for $25 per person

This is an off-season reception package with a plated dinner and chair covers for the most beautiful reception possible!  Catering/menu may be adjusted to suit your preferences. 

Pre-Event Day Services

• Checklist and full event coordination

• Hors d'oeuvres of:  spinach dip in a bread bowl, mini pizzas, vegetable tray with dip, cheese and crackers

• Plated dinner: 
  House salad
  Dinner rolls
  Parmesan encrusted chicken
  Angel hair pasta with marinara
  (or menu of similarly priced items)

• Beverage service: Tea, lemonade, water, and coffee  

• Bartender service for beer and wine

• Cake: Your choice of flavors and style (or substitute chocolate fountain or other dessert)
  Cake cutting and serving

• Plates, linen napkins, and metal flatware

• Tables - table seating for all.  Includes tablecloth overlays, basic centerpieces, and chair covers.
