Our Reception area was designed with your party in mind!  Our unique high peak tent is over 1100 square feet and is great for both shade on sunny days and protection on rainy days.   Dancing typically happens in the center of the tent with tables surrounding for an outdoor dining and dancing experience that you can only find at the 1812 Hitching Post!

   The tent adjoins our Wisteria Ball Room for a seamless indoor/outdoor party experience.  Gorgeous colors are a great backdrop for your dress!  The Wisteria Room features lilac walls (the color of wisteria blossoms in the spring) with white trim. 

   At night, tiki torches, twinkle lights, and brass and copper coach lights set the mood in the gardens surrounding the Reception area. The fountain to the north splashes pleasantly and a fire may be burning in the fireplace if the evening is cool.  A "beach" of white sand between the tent and surrounding courtyard gives barefoot dancers and children a place to wiggle their toes.
